Sarcasm, notwithstanding, you and I are wearing the same jersey, we both want to see this company succeed.

I contend that the proper path right now for this company, which clearly cannot afford their wish list, namely, in house battery production is to get cash flowing through open source a la Elon Musk, by unlocking their trade secrets and intellectual property for profit.

Let that the cash flow fund further research, development and product innovation.

Of course a longer life cycle battery is not a "revenue capper", constant innovation and technology advances coupled with the desire to upgrade fleets will always drive more sales even for the "million mile" battery pack.

So let's agree to agree and have productive discourse, which will hopefully attract a throng of others.
