There appears to be so much demand out there for Electrovaya's no fires, long cycle life battery. Electrovaya has stated that they can not currently take on new customers because they are capacity constrained. That is where Jamestown comes in. Next Quarter Electrovaya will begin cranking up cell production. Once they get over startup hicups, new customers can be accomodated. Jamestown cell and battery pack production will also help to increase the margins for their final products. Then in Mississaugua in the 3rd fiscal quqrter they will start cranking up an automated assembly line for high voltage battery packs. This will allow them to start supplying a EV bus OEM and provide high voltage packs for their new ESS systems. This is all going to happen in a 6 to 9 month period.
So last quarter they had 10Mil revenue without Jamestown and without the High Voltage assembly line going. I think is is reasonable to assume that by the 4th quarter they should bring in at least 15mil. I think their 42Mil projection is low, low, LOW!
Oh, I did not mention the US incentives available to Jamestown battery cells $25 ea and battery packs $10 ea.
