One of the things I noticed on a recent presentation is that Electrovaya is developing 3 different solid state cells. One a hybrid with a gell electrolyte, one completely solid state both anode and cathode and one that is anodeless. So that seems to me to give Electrovaya the ability to sell one and still have two more. It will be very interesting to see the difference in specifications as to cycle life, temperature range, fast charging capability and energy density. Just from looking at the presentation I come away with the impression that the anodeless cell will be the first out of the lab.
The second thing that I am wondering about is the multi layered cell. Is the single layer voltage so low that they have to go to multi-layer to achieve a decent cell voltage OR are they trying for a 12 and 24 volt cell??
