IMO, and experience, companies don't usually co-mingle significant news with earnings reports so don't get your hopes too high. Seen too many SH's over the years hope for the same thing only to be disappointed.

Significant news is generally dispersed separately in a NR. Keep them separate to avoid confusion. The news will also get more attention if presented on its own. The biggest news we need "right now" is another record Q to keep the momentum going.
