Mahomes, that's the danger of putting in orders pre-market while the MM plays games with bid/ask. i have mentioned on ocassion the ridiculous flashing of misleading bid/asks.

There are mamy days you'll see the premarket bid/ask price way above or below the previous close as they hunt for naive sellers or buyers. 

Unless you are determined to dump your holdings no matter what, it is USUALLY BEST to use limit orders (set your price) and wait until the market opens and has some time to settle down. Then decide your strategy. These trades were probably inexperienced persons that got taken advantage of.
