Why does TESLA need a new battery factory??   If there was a new solid state battery (Pouched cell) that had twice the energy density--------------weighed half as much-----------------took up half the space--------------cost half as much to manufacture----------------and was not susceptible to fires THEN it becomes a no brainer.
