Welcome to the Evolving Gold Free HUB On AGORACOM

Evolving Gold is focused on exploring its significant discovery at Rattlesnake Hills, Wyoming, an alkalic gold system, similar to the Cripple Creek gold district in Colorado, and on gold properties adjacent to the Carlin district of Nevada.

I personally think EVG would need to have some kind of idea on the direction of the company before a base metals decision should be made. If the intention is to remain an explorer, then to me, definitely yes, add to your repertoire - gives a little leeway as far as what the market and your target majors want. If the intention is to take Rattlesnake to production themselves, I would say stay strictly with gold. Over and over when you hear the upper management of mid-size and larger base metals companies speak regarding the reason they have sold a very good gold property the answer is invariably that gold mining requires a very different skill set than industrial metals and that is why successful gold miners (typically) only mine gold and other miners stay away from it.

Having said that, I have read up on some of the original geological work done in the area around Kiyuk and I will be quite surprised if there is not a rather varied group of metals on that property.
