I saw where management was projecting 20,000 oz per year for the Catanava project 10,000 of those oz go to Excalibur. Due to the ease of mining and basic gravety separation of the quarts it is looking like the CAPEX on this project is nothing, like a few hundred grand. It will simply make money. At 20,000 oz per year it does not sound like this project will be depleted in my lifetime - sounds like 1MM oz present. Usually I buy and sell Juniors but it could be fun to buy this one and just collect my $.16 per share every year as I think managment wants to pay a big dividend.
My father in 2008 purchased some preferred stock non mining related that was yeilding 18% per year... the stock is way up... but he keeps it loving that 18% return.. Always has that in his back pocket. This could make that look like a joke. 100% return per year forever...
Someone give me some downside on this... or what I need to watch out for. I know there are delays on this project... but this one could be fun.
