SUGAR LAND, Texas, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Exousia Advanced Materials, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: EXOU - News), a manufacturer of advanced industrial coatings for worldwide infrastructure applications and engineered composites for eco-friendly wood substitutes, takes this opportunity to provide progress reports on the status of several of the company's ongoing projects. "We continue to move forward with our strategic business partners and are showing signs of progress both domestically and internationally," said Exousia President & CEO, J. Wayne Rodrigue.

A brief synopsis of Exousia's Projects follows:

China United Engineering Corporation (CUC): Based on ongoing product success, the company has now received and fulfilled a fourth order from CUC. Explained Mr. Rodrigue, "CUC demonstrates how our business will operate in China. We are now enjoying a repetitive, recurring business cycle with CUC and have every confidence that we will continue to develop similar business relationships."

Bohai Shipbuilding: The final raw materials needed to fulfill the Bohai order have arrived in China and been delivered to the Tianjin blending facility. Exousia has begun the work required to fulfill the order and the company anticipates completion of this order very shortly.

CleanRoom USA: Exousia has developed a fire retardant light weight plastic material grade to be added to the TrussCore product line. Its uses include sheet rock replacement to be used in eliminating bacterial growth in hospital operating rooms as well as computer clean rooms and other construction industry applications. One thousand pounds of materials have been ordered and Exousia will produce the new fire retardant panels. These panels will be shipped to CleanRoom USA so they may complete their own product testing. We anticipate orders to start flowing shortly thereafter.

U.S. Distribution: Wells Cargo recently completed the TuffCore demo trailer in Waco, TX with demonstrated weight savings of over 50% vs. comparable trailers. This trailer will be used to provide live demonstrations of product toughness and durability in conjunction with fuel savings or additional load capacity. The exclusive national distributor has deployed its industrial sales force across the U.S. to sell TuffCore and initial feedback has been extremely positive with prototyping ongoing with many different industries.

AEGEON: "We have worked diligently over the last two quarters to reposition our Domestic Industrial Coatings line and the capabilities of our Channelview facility," commented Robert Roddie, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Exousia. "We are pleased with the aggressive sales effort by the AEGEON team and we anticipate rapid growth in our North American Coating Division sales for the remainder of 2009."
