Had an interesting discussion the other day with a analyst regarding FO. He said that short term (12 months) it may hit the $3.plus target but he believed it will not sustain that price YET. He said that he believe it could be very good but it will take 3-4 years. He spoke about Exxon being the best fit to crack the science and he thought we may hear something from Exxon as early as Mid Dec but most likely in the early new year. He also mentioned that Exxon has over 100 hundred personnel assigned to the Mako Trough project and since the Trough has come up in their conference calls he expects they will not keep quiet on their results. He expects them to drill several wells and not to get too excited by good or poor results as Exxon is more focused on the science now and then they will apply what they learn to get the results (we all want) later. He was very positive but emphasized being realistic short term and having patience. Hope no one minds but I am posting this on the IV board as well as I think there are some good posters left behind just as the Fools board also has a few good posters
