Hate to burst your bubble pipe, but the purpose of building the strategic gas storage facility is so that if the Russian supplies get cut off again, Hungary will be able to hold out for a lot longer. It has nothing to do with the success or failure of the Mako Trough....but as I pointed out yesterday, it's certainly a good thing to have in the neighbourhood because of all the pipelines that are being built in the area.
