One positive reason for investing in the Colorado adventure was that our partner-neighbor (Exxon) had some productive wells nearby. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Appeared at the time to be an arms length deal - just iniated by an insider who owned alot of both companies who would like to atleast get a well test done. He seems to have that problem for a couple of decades now!
