Okay so they have six months after the expiration to prepare and submit a final report about their esploration activities some of which happened to take place during the 6 months they were preparing the report. :)

They would then have the remaining 6 months of the 1 year period to apply for a mining plot.

MOL had 2 licenses expiring this year. Wasn't it June and August? You had previously posted the dates. Do you know/remember if they were ineligible for any more extensions which, if so, would mean they are about to be in the same boat with however many wells Exxon has drilled on their acreage?
