No. I think you are wrong on that.
From the Production and Development Agreement:
ExxonMobil is sophisticated in the evaluation, purchase, operation and ownership of oil, gas and mineral properties is aware of the geologic factors and risks associated with operating oil and gas wells, and the risks associated with the development and operation of oil and gas interests. In entering into this Agreement and consummating the transactions contemplated hereby,
ExxonMobil has relied solely on its own independent investigation and evaluation of the Contract Area and is relying on its own estimate and appraisal of the value of the Contract Area and future operation, maintenance and development costs.
ExxonMobil acknowledges that neither Falcon nor TXM has made any representation or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of any interpretative data provided to ExxonMobil by Falcon or TXM pursuant to this Agreement prior to the Effective Date.
They also spent a year doing a technical study with MOL and called the results of that study "promising" (in MOL's presentation)
