Given that XOM will go on to phase 2,I just wonder how two companies will work out in the same well shown in the presentation, like Mako 6.Maybe they share one site to each other ?
Will there still be enough potential in this formation as MOL was sucking out this very formation since 56 years succesfully, facing decline rates since 10 years, even some of their wells had to be abandomed due to declined production rates.
As the local wells were started in the 50 ies of the last century,it is a little bit late to start another new exploration or production phase 60 years later in the same area.
Local MOL was trying hard to get out every drop in the last 35 years.Maybe there wont be much hydrocarbons left in the formation above 2800 m?
Driving through the country I could find numerous wells left and right of the streets widely spread all over the county of Csongrad connected to the Algyo plant or abandomed.I even could see some of them around the town of Mako.
Funny thing, just across the street of Mako 6 I found a gas gathering station of some wells of MOL.
In case XOM walks away the presentation will be better and easily comprehensible. It looks like a prudent prevention for the times without XOM....
