Actually the camels are 300 miles west of Alice Springs, according to some reports, in Docker River. But anyway, I stand corrected. It's easy to forget how big Australia is. Daly Waters is quite close to the Beetaloo, and it doesnt look like they are experiencing any sort of drought at the moment.
