I got sidetracked by the video this morning and never got around to google translating the short story that was with it. A few more tidbits:

"We know the volume of gas is good, excellent calorific value"

"No gas line in the vicinity of the village, therefore the plans include the construction of a gas power station"

That sounds a lot more interesting than a "gas generator" :)

He also cleared up what was said about the Mako project being abandoned:
