Developing large acreage positions of unconventional and conventional oil and gas resources
"The least they could do is send some coloured smoke up the chimney."
They didn't send up any black or white smoke to signify who our next Spiritual Leader will be at Falcon. They didn't even give us time to finish our coffee and muffins before someone (either the local lawyer or the Investor Relations guy) got up on the podium at exactly 9 AM and said the meeting is adjourned and would we all vacate the meeting room immediately. There was no one from Falcon in the room at that time and neither Bruner nor Szabo were there at all. I believe that Roberto was able to speak with Rod Wallis for a couple of minutes before the meeting, but he and anyone else from Falcon were long gone even before they announced that the AGM was postponed. As far as I could tell, no small investors from a long distance, had come to Vancouver for the meeting. There was only Roberto, myself and a couple of other retail investors that were I was able to talk to in the Lobby afterwards and they were all from the Vancouver area.
I left after we were told in no uncertain terms to get the heck out of there, but not before scoring another muffin which brings my average cost way down on Falcon :)
Roberto, myself and a couple of other investors hung around in the Lobby for a few minutes after trying to guess what the postponement was all about, but we were just guessing like everyone else will be right now. My own "guess" is that Burlingame and Avelar scored enough votes to make a big change, and then forced the postponement to give them some time to effect it?????
