I have doubts about that. Shorted for .18 cents and covered for .17 cents would yield about $2800 dollars, can’t call it a big bet. Shorting sometimes backfires. Click on the link at the bottom of this post, check the February shorting and see how the guy made out? Anyway, to move 280 thousand or so wouldn’t require selling in 500 shares increments. However, Canaccord did have a 1.9 million negative position in the same timeframe, and a very large chunk of it was moved in 500 increments.
