2 hours ago Chevron (CVX -0.1%) joins the hunt for natural gas in South Africa, saying it plans to partner with Falcon Oil & Gas (FOLGF.PK), one of only three firms with permission to conduct seismic studies of the local geology. South Africa is estimated to hold the world's fifth-largest shale gas reserves, and lifted a temporary ban on fracking just three months ago.
