"the upper management of this company needs to wake up"
I have met with and talked to Philip O'Quigley a couple of times and have been very impressed with his open and forthright manner in how he and John Craven see the company progressing going forward. This is a 180 degree turn from dealing with Marc Bruner and his style of management.
I would suggest phoning or emailing Philip to get a better comfort level - as he has responded to emails in the past and has said that he will take investor calls when not on the road - which is a great deal of his time. Hess only made their decision less than 2 months ago - so there is little chance that another large oil and gas company will make a decision to move forward on the Beetaloo until a very thorough due diligence process is complete.
