Do what you think you got to do but remember History repeats itself.
The energy has been identified and is in the ground (all 14 million + acres). Technology will find ways of extracting that energy efficiently. Always has, always will. We are just learning more about Australia Potential but there are hungry economies in the far east that want and need energy. The 100 million dollar expenditure by Hess has value and showed that there is potential oil to be recovered the old fashion way economically and oil to be recovered from the shale, and the same goes for gas. It is hard to be the first risk taker of any potential field or basin and develope the tecniques to extract the energy. Hess was that risk taker but it ran aground with Wall Street that wanted immediate return instead of long term effeciencies and capital gains. Our management called Hess when it had its back to the wall and is dealing a new hand looking for a player. Not much of a gamble when you have the information. Anyone greedy enough to get into the game? History repeats itself and yes there are players who want to get into the game.
Our management has sucessfully played the game before. You are getting upset because they are not exposing their hand. If they tell you they tell the other players.
