Thanks Mo for posting the article on bundu's program for the Karoo. The most interesting part for me is more confirmation that the 1968 well "right next door" to Falcon's permit is very promising:

"Soekor conducted a drilling campaign in 1968. Gas from the well had reportedly flowed to surface from a vertical unstimulated well, which Willes described as a “promising indicator of potential”.

This is probably the best confirmation that gas may be plentiful in the Karoo if it flowed from a unstimulated vertical well. If we are looking at horizontal stimulated wells for Falcon's Karoo license - the flow rates could be very prolific.
