Very doubtful that we will get any announcement soon, with the small exception of possibly some news as to whether NIS is paying a penalty for not drilling the third well or is looking closer at the Deep Mako. There won't be any news on South Africa for at least a few months except for a simple release that Falcon has filed the updated environmental report required by PASA by the end of February. I don't think there will be any update from Origin until we get allot closer to the first drill moving on site late in the spring.
The volume is most likely the result of positioning by some of the bigger brokerage houses now that tax loss selling is complete and the 30 day time limit has passed, along with the fact that the darn price is just way too low given the potential upside later this year and next.
