Message: Lac Lamalee discussions

Allow me preempt the LacLamalee comments.

"...Our question is, what is the trigger that will get the first offer? Once that happens we are off the the races. If you put yourself in a major's mindset, what are you waiting for? What could Smith do to preempt the war by placing Lac Lamalee up for sale."

We know Smith's methods by now. He doesn't tend to maximize property potential, because he doesn't like to commit the cash to do so. That's an understatement. When money is spend buying every grassroots Monopoly properties you land on, there's no money to spend on houses. I can live with that if he starts delivering dividends. Accepting that our CEO prefers to let neighbors develop the value of his properties "in the fullness of time," is it possible to alter his tactic of not spending money by ignoring the "fullness of time" part? Can he preempt the storm brewing on the Fermont property by maximizing an offer for our 100% owned Lac Lamalee now? Could that be the trigger for Champion/FNC properties? He spends no money but gets a dollar per share by December's end and sets the trigger off for the Fermont storm? Imagine the unsettling feeling the other Majors in the area will feel once one begins consolidating. If you could see me, I'm looking like Scrooge, hunched over my computer in clouded breath counting stacks of coins -at Starbucks (wait, that doesn't quite work).

The main oppositional arguement would be, does Peter have the know-how to spend a little cash, find the iron, and negotiate for greater then 50million for LacLamalee. If so, by how much. And do we want to wait 2 years for Peter to get around to drilling it. And do we think we could get 50million right now for that little patch. Or once offers begin on Champion's properties, will LacLamalee fetch more then 50million? I feel that waiting for $2 at this point would task my patience, as I've waited long enough for a little FNC profit. I'll be happy with $1 dividend now rather then $2 two years from now. And there are still profits from our 17.5 interests in Champion, plus 1.5mil shares, plus NSR, and Champion, and so many more properties. Lets get a little right now as a holiday bonus. Does anyone think Lac Lamalee alone could go more then $2?

Please discuss.
