Noront took out FNC? FNC has the Koper Lake chromite property (currently under option to BOL/KWG) which is directly to the east of the adjoining Blackbird deposit (owned by NOT).

If KWG doesn't do the remaining $2m in exploration by end of September then NOT would have the property. If KWG somehow managed to come up with the remaining funds, there is still and additional $15m to be paid for a larger share plus a Gross Metal Royalty. NOT would also hold another 35m shares of KWG over and above the current 111m shares they may receive from the Cliff's sale.

While NOT says they are only interested in nickel right now, Franco Nevada wants the chromite.

Maybe, maybe not? It depends what happens in the Quebec courts this week on the Cliff's sale.
