RECENT DEVELOPMENTS
1. NI 43-101 compliant, measured and inferred resources on its 17.5% owned Fire Lake North Property have been increased by a factor of 2.6x to 1063.1 million tonnes @ 28.9% total iron.
2. 8,125 metres of drilling have been completed on the Magpie No. 2 Deposit with 55,000 lbs of samples collected. Assays and an NI 43-101 is scheduled for completion by year end.
3. 5,613 metres of diamaond drilling has just been completed on the 100% owned Lac Lamêlée South property. An NI 43-101 resource estimate scheduled for Q1 2012.
4. The Company's McFauld's Lake property immediately adjacent to Noront Resources Inc Ni/PGM/Cu discovery and Cliffs Natural Resources Big Daddy and Black Thor chromite deposits is highly prospective for both these element groups and recent drilling by the Company has indicated the probable presence of significant quantities of high grade chromite.
5. Reconnaissance diamond drilling on the Company's 100% owned Beauce gold property has not yet been successful in identifying zones of economic interest although patterns of deformation and alteration encountered are typical of major gold bearing systems.
6. Drilling on VMS targets in the Stoke and Clinton areas of the Appalachian project has identified potentially significant targets which will be enlarged upon by geophysics and further drill testing.
7. Prospecting on the Company's Red Paint Lake gold property has revealed the presence of high grade angular float in a NE trending fault valley - which is a part of the Marmion Lake Fault System an offset part of which hosts the Osisko/Brett Hammond Reef property immediately to the south. Prospecting continues.
8. Airborne geophysics has indicted the probability of massive sulphides beneath 300-400 metres of Paleozoic limestone cover on the Company's majority owned Desolation Lake Project in the James Bay Lowlands. This very large kilometre scale conductive magnetic anomaly is a prime exploration target for nickel bearing sulphides for example. Consideration is being given to the possibility of a few test holes in Q1/2 2012.
