I'm not sure that CGE selling out 65% is the best for them but maybe they had no other options? Plus how else would they raise $8 million..except by diluting the coffers by 50-70 million shares...so why not roll the dice...I think FMG might have some better options?
I am no geologist..but I do listen....there have been some experts on both the CGE side and also FMG speculating that there could be more than gold and silver on these properties...VGM already has discoverd what they think is a moly/copper property... they think is a feasible mine...what we don't know is if VGM is a serious mine investor or just a player.
I think it is called a copper porphyry..a deeper deposit below the gold and silver. No one has had the $$ or foresight to find out...it is purely my speculation that Vale will spend $2-4 million and do some deep drilling and see if something is down there...if there is it will be very good for all of us. Don't forget we hit some nice copper values on our last hole at Karen...but going deeper is an expensive option...compared to drilling 80 meter holes on Diana.
So we get to watch Vale do their stuff on CGE..could get interesting?
Keep in mind CGE's gold/silver values are marginal...FMG's appear to be 3-4 times the value of CGE..so in a way the surface drilling for us is viable...plus the deep stuff is a serious bonus for the property..if it is there?
THat's about all I have to say ..not sure why I'm posting this I am no expert..just passing on opinions...I doubt that very many folks even read this board any more.
