I am ready to pull up stakes here because of what I consider censorship of peoples opinions.
As Hub leaders we are given a vague rule of what to allow and what not to allow:
"3. OFF-TOPIC OR IRRELEVANT COMMENTS - Yes, nobody can believe what happened to Turtle on Entourage, or that Monica Lewinsky took a job at the Kremlin, or that Romo dropped the field goal snap and crushed Cowboy fans everwhere. However, this is not the place to discuss TV shows, politics or sports… O.K. maybe a little sports."
The definition of "off topic" seems to be a subjective one. One persons interpretation of off-topic may not be the same as someone else's. Also, one persons negative comments about a company may be interpreted by some as bashing and others as constructive criticism.
Often it seems people have their posts deleted (either by another Hub leader or by one of the Agoracom admins) and because it was not flagged there is no way for anyone to know why it was deleted or who deleted it or its original content.
Is it possible for Agoracom to more accurately define what posts will be tolerated and which ones will not? (even allowing the easy ability to move off topic posts to the off topic area would be a step in the right direction as opposed to deleting them).
