Hi Chilbear.
Thank you for your message. Having reviewed this poster's history I understand where your concerns arise. We understand that our system isn't perfect - but only due to the fact that no system can be perfect. At the present time over 1.2 million accounts are active within our Community.
Applying any uniform definition to our rules as to what will and will not be tolerated on any main discussion board would be a near impossible task. We could write a 20-page manual and there would still be discrepancies. This is especially true when you consider each member has their own level of tolerances. A "community standard" rule if you wish.
At the end of the day, what we are relying on is the necessary discretion of our members to keep their posts on Main Discussion Boards as relevant as possible to the company, the share price or the industry amongst other topics. As long as your post is contributing to the knowledge base of our members and web surfers and abides to our six rules of use then everyone is welcome to participate.
As with any democracy, it requires both adherence and tolerance from all members in order to grow and thrive.
If however a message does come across as a violation to our six rules of use, kindly use the violation tool to report that activity or that poster and an admin will provide a prompt response.
Thanks again for your message and for your contributions within the AGORACOM Community.
Regards,
AGORACOM
