COOKY, I absolutely agree with your post. There is no doubt that good ideas are not restricted to hub leaders but if the board is called “Hub leader forum”, it is leading the hub leaders posting here to think that it’s access is restricted only to them and since there are people coming here with the sole purpose of disrupting the community, allowing them free access to this board is exposing the hub leaders, who are giving their opinion, to manipulation of their ranking. In this case, this forum should be called something like “AGORACOM Community Forum” to avoid misleading the hub leaders.

The problem is, in my view, not related to those members who are posting a constructive opinion but it is related to those who are staying hidden in the background while manipulating the system. The answer to this issue could be to give a rank of “Invited” to specific members who are interested in participating to make this a better community notwithstanding their opinion and who would make the request to get invited. This way, AGORACOM would be in a position to restrict the access to the board by allowing access only to the hub leaders and to the non hub leader quality members that would be selected.
