Focused on exploration for gold and copper in British Columbia and Mexico.
Copper-gold-molybdenum EXPLORATION………
At first glance it may seam to be a long read, but all told, this is my way of wrapping my head around the projects and a method I use in my due diligence. I also enjoy doing it and hope that others will benefit as well.
MAYBE it will generate some ongoing dialog for discussions.
My interpretation of the press release and Due Diligence thus far:
Based on the recent press release dated July 10, 2008 and how I interpret what THIS MEANS.....
First the background information about the property:
The Taseko Project is located near Upper Taseko Lake and Williams Lake, BC. The property is accessible by both road and air.

The Land claims:
Galore’s Taseko Lakes property is 48,081 Hectares in size and contains an astonishing 132 total claims over the region. From these 132 claims – Galore holds a 90% interest in 84 of the claims and 100 percent interest in the remaining 48 claims. Galore has an exclusive option to purchase the remaining 10% of the 132 claims. I think its safe to say Galore is very much in the driver’s seat and it’s a STRONG advantage holding pretty much 100% control.
Here is a map breaking down the 132 claims into 6 grouping, followed by a brief description of what’s located in those claim groups:

Northwest Copper
The Northwest Copper area covers a mineralized area of at least eight square kilometers. Geophysical surveys have defined a large magnetic anomaly in the area. Several copper-silver-gold showings occur within this anomaly. A leached cap associated with argillic hydrothermal alteration, structurally-controlled mineralization and altered hornblende-porphyry dykes is further evidence of the porphyry copper-gold potential of the area.
Charlie and Hub
Disseminated and veinlet copper and molybdenum occur at lower elevations along the Tchaikazan River and copper-bearing veins occur at higher elevations. This prospect has the potential to host two styles of mineralization: copper-molybdenum mineralization (Hub) and mesothermal to epithermal gold-silver-copper veins (Charlie). Mineralized targets are partially outlined by copper and molybdenum soil geochemical anomalies and by an arcuate IP Chargeability anomaly.
Magic Twin Area
The Magic Twin area comprises two claim blocks covering mesothermal to epithermal precious-metals veins. Arsenic-bearing veins located in Twin Creek and the quartz veins carrying copper-gold mineralization on the ridge crest to the west demonstrate this potential. The Twin Creek vein system has unexplored potential for vein extensions beneath the drift-covered valley adjacent to a major fault and intrusive contact.
Fortune
The Fortune property covers 10,138 hectares and remains largely unexplored. It covers part of the Tchaikazan fault which is thought to be a controlling structure and conduit for mineralization.
Spokane
Three showings, Spokane, Ice and Syndicate, occur within the Spokane target area. The mineralization is characterized by pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite, which occur in veins associated with silification, sericite, and clay alteration. High copper, silver and gold assays have been reported from the area.
Battlement
The Battlement area includes the former Taylor-Windfall gold mine ("MINFILE 092O 028). This prospect is hosted by volcanic and sedimentary rocks and volcanic breccias. The area was previously explored in the mid-1980's for epithermal gold mineralization. A two square-kilometre area contains silicified and argillically altered volcanics associated with plutonic rocks, large-scale high-angle faults, and gold-bearing veins. Veins in the area contain up to 0.9 oz/ton gold and greater than 3.5 oz/ton silver.
Property Geology:
The geology of the property shows a long history of mineralization and Galore’s particular interest are to explore for copper-gold, copper-molybdenum precious metals vein systems including alteration zones.
Previous work done on the property (prior to Galore) has yielded some historical data that is non 43-101 compliant. This data suggests mineralization on the property but was previously inadequately explored.
The idea moving forward is to compile past exploration data, complemented with Geophysical surveys, to define exploration priorities and to develop drilling models for this phase of the $ 3-million dollar program.
In the following map you will see Galore’s property is nested in the middle of several “known” discoveries and occurrences of Gold, Copper, Moly, silver and other precious metals:

The exploration strategy and $3-million announced exploration program:
Based on previous testing and results, drill targets have been identified for a 5,000 meter drill program.
After compiling the previous exploration data, Galore has committed the first stages to drill three specific areas. Drilling will proceed in the following chronological stages:
The Hub - Two drill holes to explore copper-molybdenum mineralization and for mesothermal to epithermal gold-silver-copper veins.
Northwest Copper – Galore has not identified how many holes in this area or subsequently how many meters will be drilled. Exploration will be to test several copper-silver-gold showings
Wilson Ridge areas/ Magic Twin Area – Similarly, Galore has not stated how many holes will be drilled or meters in this area but the exploration strategy is to test for epithermal precious-metals and Arsenic-bearing quartz veins carrying copper-gold mineralization. The Wilson Ridge area is defined by the largest copper-molybdenum anomaly on the property.
Questions:
Based on this this due diligence several questions came to mind and will attempt to contact the company to find out the answers.
How much of the 5,000 meter - $ 3 million dollar drill program will be completed by the 20 man camp between now and September?
How many meters and or drill holes are scheduled for the Northwest Copper and Wilson Ridge regions?
What is the estimate on when the first set of results will be known and if they can elaborate a general timeframe for ongoing news for the Taseko Lakes Project?
I am sure after I post this that I will most likely get a few more questions that come to mind… if any of you can have any questions I would be happy to ask them at the same time and pass them on here…
Hope you enjoyed the read and DD Shared....
Still very excited REGARDS,
Tommer
