Edit this title from the Fast Facts Section
Well, to try to count up the ounces defined by the drill holes without duplication was a challenge. I tried and had help from two freinds in trying to develop a reliable ounce count. Primed24 and Hogtown offered their assistance which brought me to where I am now.
By being very conservative and only doing the best holes, I come up with approx. 96k ounces defined out of the first 39 holes. I then asked Primed24 his calculations for all the holes to get the high end , this resulted in approx 300K ounces defined by 39 holes to date.
We then did a bulk tonnage calculation for the identified trend by using a 1000m length x 250m depth x 200mwidth with an average grade of 1g/t.By using 2 different densities of the rock and taking the average I come up with 2.5 million ounces on this strike of 1000m that we are currently drilling at 1g/t. If our average grade per ton is closer to 2g/t, then you could almost double the 2.5 mil ounces.
Keep in mind that this block I just described is only a small portion of our California property. The drills only penetrated a small portion of this property to date. If the next drill results from the NE portion contains long intercepts with an average grade of at least 1g/t, this will add significantly to the above estimate. Also I would like to note that hole #1 looks to me that its identifying a new trend,if this is the case, the potential to the south of the main mineralization could also add significant resource. This hasnt been followed up on yet whereas they are still focusing on our previous hits to better define the strikes.
After reveiwing the new presentation on the website and looking at our gold properties again, I would say that my previous assumption of potential ounces has increased dramatically. If the California has the potential for at least 5 mil ozs Im guessing that Vetas and Surato will most likely contribute their share of ounces.
All I can say, is that if you dont have to sell your shares, maybe you should hold on to them for a great reward down the road somewheres. It will come, but when, I have no idea.
All of the above is in my opinion only and should not be relied on for investment decisions.
