New Brunswick Dept. Natural Resources report another 2 claim groups in Rockport's name in the Sisson Brook area totalling 241 claims. An updated claim map should be available later today (see Sisson claim map on links page - .pdf format)

For those looking at the map each claim (square) has a 6 digit number (ie 371654), each block (outlined by solid heavy lines) contains a 4 digit block number (ie 5313) and a 5 digit licence number (ie Lic 14719). Each number is searchable on the NBDNR website (see link on links page).

At Sisson Brook Lic 15297 is Rockport, 14838 is Geodex and 14719/15088 is Champlain Resources.

The Sisson map link is for map sheet 21J/06 - the main Sisson sheet, however, other map sheets are available on the NBDNR site. East is 21J/07 with some Geodex claims on and northeast is 21J/10 with more Geodex claims.

More and more ground is being staked all the time in the area. Claim data and map sheets are usually (but not always) updated Monday mornings for those interested in following the play in detail.
