GLEN EAGLE SELLS 60% INTEREST IN SOUART

Glen Eagle Resources Inc. has signed an option agreement to sell 60 per cent of its Souart property for $750,000 in cash and $4.5-million in exploration expenses, both payments being equally divided over the next three years. Glen Eagle Resources will retain a 40-per-cent interest in the property without incurring any expenses.

Souart has 110,000 ounces of gold grading seven grams per tonne in estimated resources based on an extensive drilling program when the company was in partnership in the mid-1990s with the SDBJ (Societe de Developpement de la Baie James), which held a 12.5-per-cent interest in the project. The preceding number of ounces and grade are considered historical in nature and are not compliant with the current international reporting standards presently accepted. The data are presented only as an indication of the potential of the property and cannot be relied upon since a qualified person has not yet done sufficient fieldwork to classify the historical estimate.

The Souart area is developing into an active mining camp, with the property located 40 kilometres south of Metanor, a gold producer, and 15 kilometres southwest of the Windfall Lake project in Abitibi, Que.

Glen Eagle will release updates over the next two weeks to inform its shareholders about the corporate strategy in South Africa and the financing made available to the company for mining acquisitions."

I like this deal at Souart, especially retaining 40%. The other news 'in the next two weeks' is OK and more likely not to be late. The cash over 3 years means, again less or no dilution. The work also means a fairly elaborate program that should prove officially the previous work by GER and la Société, imo.

Will the Market notice? It has not, so far. A few thousand shares at .12 and more available at the ask at .12. I think it is worth that .12 and more but I am biaised here. Do your DD!
