10:46 AM EDT, 06/24/2020 (MT Newswires) -- GoGold Resources Inc. (GGD.TO) at last look fell near 1.1% on Wednesday, but still near 52-week highs, after saying it intersected 11 meters of 424 g/t silver equivalent in the Rascadero area of its Los Ricos South project, among other assay results from 3 diamond drill holes.
Besides one at Rascadero, GoGold also drilled one hole at San Juan and one at the East Vein. The drill hole in the Rascadero area intersected the Los Ricos quartz vein from 104.0 to 143.0m for 39.0m of 151 g/t silver equivalent, consisting of 2.01 g/t gold and 117 g/t silver.
The hole in the Rascadero area is GoGold's northernmost hole drilled to date in the area, demonstrating a wide intersect of high grade mineralization in the area, according to GoGold president and CEO Brad Langille. It may also represent the beginning of a new ore shoot on the northwesternmost area of the project, Langille added.
The Los Ricos property is located in Jalisco state, Mexico, where the company has two exploration projects.
