aknahow,
Here is my 2-cent::
- Start with slide 15: IP showing 2 trends
(a) Old trend containing La Escandalosa, Hondo Valle and Romero; and
(b) Newly discovered trend with grab samples showing up to 34%Cu, near the top of the slide and on the west side of the old trend.
The boundaries of the significant "red and pink" zones are marked by dotted lines (my interpretation). Also, my reading is that the red zones are "better" than the pink zones and containing significant Cu (see Romero results and Hondo holes 89 and 91). These 2 holes are in the top portion of Hondo and heading in the NW direction toward Romero (cluster containing the star hole 90, 94 etc..) so they could be considered as part of Romero. La Escadalosa (pink) seems to contain only Au and in shallow layers.
- Slide 16: It looks like GQC is trying to show a model for that region which includes the 2 trends. The old trend has EN and RO, they are called "hydrothermal systems" which have significant drill data to support. Hondo was not really featured here..with the exception of hole 89 and 91 (got some Cu). However, as indicated above, this area could be considered as part of Romero?
The model seems to suggest that there may be a large "porphyry source" which is located in the top left corner where 34% Cu grab sample was collected.
Also, the model seems to suggest that the source in the centre, under tremendous pressure due to hot stuff hitting ground water millions of years ago and this steam explosion expelled the rich Cu stuff outward (picture a shotgun blast). This shot gun model appear to create hydrothermal "clusters" ("systems" as called by GQC) along the radial dotted lines.
It seems that the red zones are better drill spots for Cu (note RD=red and HV and EN are pink)? Also note the red porphyry centre is surrounded by a pink "aura" (of Au?).
