Message: Re: Gold Reserve's Board of Directors Rejects Rusoro Mining Ltd.'s Unsolicited Offer

As suspected, it was Choco 5 that Rusoro drilled without GRZ's permission. That puts quite a different slant on their offer. Having drilled Choco 5 and not disclosing the fact to GRZ or their own shareholders, but instead making a run at GRZ in a hostile bid looks like corporate claim jumping to me!

If they found nothing at Choco 5, why make any offer for GRZ at all? Don't suggest it's because they want Brisas. Their CEO is on record in saying that they had no interest in Brisas only a few months ago, and considering the cap ex required and current copper prices I don't believe that Rusoro could raise that sort of money and run a mine of the size and type that would be Brisas.

A nice high grade ore body at Choco 5 right next to their existing mill on Choco 10 would be another matter all together.
