Just think for a while using GRZ as an example. Why issue all the permits and then when all of that needs is just a rubber stamp. they balk.
The environmental issue about Imataca Forest and illegal miners, among others was a hollow excuse. The arguments presented about Gold Reserve were partly to completely false.
About KRY a contractor, the resource there is owned by CVG, a Venezuelan entity, so why impede CVG's progress? It is like shooting at your own foot. It looks simple now with hind sight and recent developments.
Venezuela had to solve the Gold Reserve issue before they could continue with KRY and CVG.
Now that they have instituted what they want there is no more any reason to impede the paper work.
Unfortunately the incentive to progress for the corporations is largely gone and needs a serious rise in gold price to make it worth while again.
Doug Belanger had to deal with Venezuela very carefully so as not to damage our chances. He also had to be prudent in making any statements about what has transpired or what Gold Reserve's plans were.
The current change is direction for GRZ is based on what the best option is left to us. It will take time but the potential reward outweighs that wait time.
