Now if any chart is saying something, its the Canadian Dollar vs. the Japanese Yen. I wish to start the debate (which doesn't exist anywhere on the web) over why would a currency, which is presumed to be "commodities based" be depreciating against the Japanese Yen?
The technicals on the weekly chart are as follows. I wish to bring people's attention to the Wilder's ADX black line, which is showing absolutely no momentum to the upside. What that means is the Yen is about to rally against the loonie, and that for several months.
If things continue along trend, then the Yen will appreciate along with gold, as it has since 2002, should Japanese interventions in their banking system fail to stem the tide into their currency.
