The next few weeks will certainly be interesting times for Golden Hope....

I am amazed as I watch the range of opinion on this forum.... so many cannot or will not see the forest for the trees.

If our new high-priced bookkeeper, no doubt very competent, can do basic arithmetic, he should be able to discern that his generous pay package would appear to have severe funding limitations. He will certainly be worth his salt if he can raise the proceeds that will keep the Golden Hope gravy train alive.

True entrepreneurs risk their own money; Public company executives live at the trough of shareholder dollars, selling the dream to keep the enterprise rolling forward until they strike gold!

Sometimes they do!

Sometimes, that gravy train ends....

Continuing to do the same thing hoping to achieve a different result usually has downside limitations. What "bull-sh**" will they tell us next? To say the least, the recent message from the President was NOT reassuring; nor was it stellar...

It will not be necessary for you to call me, Frank. Whether or not I like or liked you is not the issue and has NO bearing. It is the failed management of this company that is at issue, here.

No one promised me that we would find the mother lode of gold, although that would have been nice.....

But, if there is to be any future for GNH and shareholder value, as I see it, it will have to be with new leadership.

Even adding Earl to the board, which I wholeheartedly support, will probably NOT do the trick. I fear that there is something endemically wrong here, and major change is required.

The current board seems quite cozy and united. Too bad for us shareholders!

I dare to suggest that if there was ever a textbook case for "better governance", this is it.

As in most cases, I suppose, there are a lot of "self interests" involved.... paycheques, expenses, ego's, etc.... Whatever!

The shareholders will vote, and life will carry on; whether there will be any shareholder value on the other side is the question.

I certainly hope some of my other investments work out, because I am anticipating a huge tax loss on this one....

OBS...
