If you are in Canada, as I am, no need to be concerned unless your account has over 100 grand in it. I have four accounts and none is in that category for now for that reason, so I do not lose any sleep. The riskiest one is most likely CIBC, one of mine.

I do not know enough about US institutions, but would not trust any one of them and consider every one in a more precarious state than CIBC.
