On the day Bear Sterns disintegrates and the overseas markets all tank, Ben and the gang are able to thrash gold and silver, raise the USD from near comatose levels and through the power of derivatives, power the DOW up over 100 points. I wonder how many billions of tax payers dollars it took to accomplish this? Or have we witnessed divine intervention?
