I just did some reading about Refco to remind myself of what happened there. It's reassuring that that situation was sorted out pretty quickly.

At least (to the best of my knowledge), there is no fraud in the HybridTrading situation. I suspect they lost clients over time (people bailing out from scary markets?) and just didn't have enough business to stay afloat.
