Hi Sinbob,  You can't blame the average investor for their unwillingness to participate in this market of mass confusion.  Every new plan or initiative seems to temporarily settle the markets until reality sets in again.  It is becoming a farce and the self proclaimed "free market" leaders are acting more like fascists in their attempt to instill corporate authoritarianism. Lehman Brothers up 10% on a $4 billion financing that was done in part to prove they didn’t need the money?  Is this an April Fool’s Day joke?  Why would they attempt to raise money when the share price is at a 52 week low if the didn’t need it and only 2 weeks after the share price fell 35% on a single day? 

Yet any attempt to raise money in the junior gold market is akin to the four horsemen galloping down Wall Street.

 

Don't forget the SEC’s timely letter over the weekend instructing companies on how to “measure” fair value.  So it appears the suppressive forces acting on gold are now also broadening their scope to include free markets.
