WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Central bank manipulation of the gold market, assisted by the misuse of U.S. gold reserves, will be major topics at the third international conference held by the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee -- Thursday through Saturday, April 17-19, at the Hyatt Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.

The conference is titled "GATA Goes to Washington: Anybody Seen Our Gold?" It follows up on the organization's publication of a full-page advertisement in The Wall Street Journal in the United States and Business Day in South Africa calling attention to GATA's freedom-of-information requests to the U.S. Treasury Department and Federal Reserve.
