Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
Billid stated: GWR1. What if I told you that I can state pretty confidently that ecu is not illegally manipulated without having studied the trading patterns from the long side for years. Aren't you really saying "shut up, cause you haven't been here for years to witness all the bs." Does that invalidate my opinion, even when backed by facts? You claim there is manipulation, you have seen it. So tell me how it works? Answer my question - how do they make money on manipulating ecu? C'mon, one single fact. Even a good guess.
My response: Go ahead and make your point and use facts to prove that ECU is not manipulated. I never implied anything about shutting you up but suggested you keep a more open mind about the subject and maybe defer a little to some who have studied the data for a long time without suggesting they are full of it as you have. Your style and substance leaves much to be desired and certainly you should try a reading comprehension course. You never provided one fact to date to support your contention and no one stated your opinion was invalid, again please try reading. I note that others have posted some facts and I know there is a wealth of information available on the subject to anyone who wishes to do the research but I'm not going to do your work for you as I simply have no desire to do so.
I made no claim about manipulation of ECU in my original and only post to you, see my post below.
"Billid, I think before you start criticizing people too much who have studied ECU trading patterns for years from the long side, you might want some time studying the situation yourself. Of course proof is hard to come by and getting something investigated is even harder by the AMF or OSC but this doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I would suggest being a little more open about the possibilities like others have been about your reservations of manipulation. In my view the market is all about manipulation and tugs of war between many forces and all are not profit motivated all the time even if that is my ultimate motive. Then again I'm just a lowly retail investor who probably doesn't know better."
I stand by my original post above, take it easy and slowly work your way into this board and keep a more open mind toward others. No one is asking for confrontation here but you and your posts have proven nothing except you personally believe there is no manipulation, not exactly a proof source. You like to write but say little in my view. I also suggest you give up the pointed question routine, I will never fall for that old fools game and find it rather insulting to everyone you point the finger at and certainly tells me about the person on the other end of the finger.
And for your info ECU has been on the SHO list in the past, now do some homework and research instead of trying to intimidate and maybe get some facts to support your case. I also note that large orders to sell on Friday afternoons and some other days in the last 2-4 minutes have been too common on ECU as well as opening salvos to take the price down at the open in the morning and lots of gap down market sells when the bids are weak. Likewise some closings suggest manipulation up as counter thrusts. These are but observations and from my view will make no difference in the longer term.
Had a fun round of golf today or I would have responded sooner.
