MajorD, that recommendation you see beside your last post is from me to you and your daughter because I not only concur with that opinion but may I expand;
First and last half hour of trading in just about any day is stupid, lol.

As far as ratings and activity points:
When I started on this board I had just a few hundred activity points but because I was so fed up with the Sh board I put in an extra effort to post someting useful and at the same time to get some of the quality folks from Sh to move over to here. With that achieved I now stand back and post much less ( anyone noticed?) and contribute even less. That does not mean that I am not pleased with the result but that there is so much excellent material posted that anything I could contribute pales by comparison. Also I am now distracted by a few other boards that need my attention, hence my lack has no reflection on this board.

Also shortly after some of you "Big Posters" appeared here my activity points shot up from a thousand or so to about nine with no apparent reason, at least not obvious to me. I think that the administration has just added about eight thousand as part of my "Appointment".

The sum total of this self promotion:
If some of you concur and to ESL acceptable, I will send a note to the administration to have ESL "Appointed" in my place and perhaps some of those points moved to where they better belong. His content, if not in quantity then in quality, deserves it.

I wanted same when GWR was appointed but in appointing him they still retained me?
I do not believe in many cooks in the kitchen and thus am most willing to step aside in deference to those more deserving.
