addititonal comments on AGM meeting

On reflection there are 3 more important things I should mention that were discussed at the AGM meeting plus around 100 million votes were registered.

1/ Steve discussed the ECU committment to the Jim Sinclair initiative and confirmed that ECU not only was one of the first but very committed to this project on shedding light on market manipulation of the junior mining sector. The obvious manipulation of ECU stock was also discussed and he reinterated as he has before that the company has talked to the regulators and investment banks and continues to call when obvious manipulations occur. There were a couple of good examples this week that were used as examples (large lot offered to block momentum and repetitive patterned selling to defend the block on the ask by using 3 or more houses plus computer programmed selling of small lots) at the meeting plus numerous occassions when large sell orders were placed late in the day on Fridays. In my view there has to be a profit motive of some kind as most market activity is driven by this but not all according to some people.

2/ We were also fortunate to have Wister Holt at the meeting, a very market savvy, intelligent, succesfull and highly informed fund manager out of St. Louis who is very well connected. Wister is very involved with Sinclair in this initiative and provided his very interesting perspective which fully supported Steve's comments, actions and thoughts. He felt that individual junior mining companies by themselves will get no where but hundreds together can blow the lid off this hedge fund and investment community scam which impacts many junior companies. There are many tactics employed and taken as a whole it is obvious but individually less so but this is another discussion. BTW, as most who are investors in ECU know, Wister's group are very large shareholders of ECU.

3/ It was also emphasized that ECU is more a precious metal company than many other Mexican juniors with 45% silver, 35% gold and 20% base metals. This 80% precious metals is a very high concentration in comparison to some making ECU more of a pure play.
