U.S. Banks Are Melting Away

Although most of us are watching FNM and FRE today, the rest of the banks/lenders are being demolished:

Firstfed Financial -30%

Washington Mutual -30%

Wachovia Bank -9%

Merrill Lynch -5%

Citigroup -3%

Lehman Bros. -2%

Unless the FED wants to bail-out these zombies as well, lights out for the U.S. financial system might come sooner than we think.
